ABOUT THE MOVIE
The Stranger is British mini-series of 8 episodes. It is based on the 2015 Harlan Coben novel. The development for the series begin on January 2019. Filming begin March 2019 in Manchester.
THE STRANGER PLOT
The stranger follows the story of Adam Price (Richard Armitage), whose wife goes missing . As the series progress, more secrets are revealed.
One day, a woman approaches Adam Price during his son’s football match. The woman told Adam his wife Corinne (Dervla Kirwan) had faked her recent pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage.
The woman suggests to Adam that he should get the DNA test of his children. Adam asks Corinne about this, but she says she needs some time.
In the meanwhile, Heidi (Jenifer Saunders) is approached by the stranger(Hannah John-Kamen). She tells her that her daughter is involved in an escort website. Adam is still waiting to hear from Corinne.
Adams comes to knows that Vicky’s young daughter nude pictures have been leaked throughout the school. It is later revealed that Daisy was the one who leaked her sister’s photos.
Police arrive at Adams’s place to investigate Corrine about the money stolen from the football team, but she doesn’t respond. She wants some more time to prove her innocence. Later on, Adam reports Corrine as a missing person at the police station.
Doug (Shaun Dooley ) claims that Corrine stole the money from the football team. Adams goes to Doug’s place to find the truth. Doug admits that he had killed Corrine with a hammer and buried her body in a shallow grave.
