Firstly, American flight attendant Cassie Bowden is a careless drinker who indulges in binge drinking on aeroplanes and spends her free time having sex with random people, including her fellow travellers. And, Cassie finds the murdered body of a fellow traveller from her previous trip lying next to her when she awakens in a hotel room in Bangkok the following morning, still feeling the effects of the previous night. Besides, she cleans up the crime scene since she is afraid to alert the police, then she travels to the airport with the other airline staff.

Also, She struggles to remember the details of the evening and has sporadic flashbacks and hallucinations about it. She starts to speculate about the identity of the murderer.
