Up to the age of 16, Delevingne attended Francis Holland School for Girls in central London before transferring to Bedales School in Steep, Hampshire. She struggles in school because of dyspraxia. In a June 2015 interview with Vogue, Delevingne discussed how she struggled with depression when she was 15: “I was hit with a tremendous wave of sadness and anxiety and self-hatred, where the feelings were so intense that I would bang my head against a tree to try to knock myself unconscious.”

She transferred to Bedales School in Hampshire at age 16, after finishing her GCSEs, to concentrate on music and acting. After a year, she left school to pursue modelling, just like her sister Poppy.

Alongside Keira Knightley, Delevingne made her acting debut in the 2012 rendition of Anna Karenina as Princess Sorokina, Count Vronsky’s potential bride. Delevingne provided the voice of a DJ for a pop radio station in the video game Grand Theft Auto V, which was published in August 2013 and went on to become the fastest-selling entertainment product in history.
